The evening for the deaf was attended by more than 600 participants and followers from the cities of the Kingdom
Professor: Abdul Majid Sheikh moderated the fifth evening today, Thursday, as part of the series of evenings organized by the initiative (My Community is My Responsibility) from the Social Responsibility Management of Nawa Media Foundation (My Community) in collaboration with the ACADEMION International Institute for Training, and the fifth evening was titled (Communicating with Deaf People) by Professor: Abdul Wahab Babtain, with the participation of a group of followers of such evenings from all cities in the Kingdom via the Zoom program.
After the evening ended, Professor: Abdul Wahab Babtain spoke to Eyes of the City and indicated, "This evening for me was a beautiful experience and the interaction was even more beautiful from the audience, which exceeded 600 people, to empower the integration of the community with the deaf and to learn the basics of dealing with deaf individuals and to facilitate communication with hearing individuals if they encounter anyone at work or in any service place to ease the interaction with the deaf."
He expressed his happiness with what took place in the evening, especially for hosting the deaf: Turki Al-Saadi, who provided us with live examples of communication with deaf individuals and some real stories, which I translated for the hearing individuals through reverse translation, that is, audible, and it was a wonderful experience with great interaction from the participants. The truth is that the circumstances played a significant role in giving us options we had not given much attention to, including the Zoom program and others. On this occasion, I thank all the attendees who participated with me in this evening and the interaction they had, and I hope that these evenings will be translated for the deaf to maximize the benefit, and thanks are extended to the ACADEMION International Institute.
The sixth evening will be held tomorrow, Friday, titled (The Corona Crisis and Our Community Responsibilities) at 11:30 PM, presented by Professor: Marwan Kakki and moderated by Professor: Abdul Majid Sheikh.
