1400 attendees for Dr. Al-Harbi's remote evening
Today, Tuesday, the third evening was held for the third consecutive day titled (Peaceful Mental Health) presented by Dr. Firas bin Mohsen Al-Harbi at 11:30 PM, which had a large audience and public participation from all cities of the Kingdom via the (Zoom) program online.
At the end of the evening, Dr. Firas Al-Harbi stated to the newspaper – Eyes of the City that - it was a wonderful training evening by everyone's testimony, and the number of attendees exceeded expectations. The evening was online via the ACADEMION platform and a community team in collaboration with the Knowledge Horizons Training Club and the City Creative Imprint Team, with the number of attendees on Zoom reaching 45 followers and on YouTube 35 followers, and the number of views from ACADEMION reached 1189, which is considered the highest viewership rate as the number of attendees reached 1400.
Dr. Al-Harbi pointed out that the title of the evening (Healthy Mental Health) is due to our urgent need, especially in these circumstances, to maintain psychological balance and self-control in facing the Coronavirus, especially since we know that feelings of stress, anxiety, and fear weaken a person's immunity and can lead to more severe psychological diseases than any virus. Thankfully, there is community awareness of the importance of healthy mental health, and the interaction was good, as evidenced by the numerous questions about the topic of healthy mental health and how to get rid of negative feelings and ways to change thinking.
Regarding the online evenings, Dr. Firas confirmed that the online courses via the Zoom program have played their role as required, and certainly, the conditions of home quarantine and social distancing have contributed to the success and continuity of self-development and online learning. Personally, I consider this a gain in saving time and effort and the rapid transfer of thought, experience, and knowledge through the use of modern technology.
Dr. Firas concluded his speech by thanking the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his trustworthy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for all they have provided and exerted during this crisis. He also specifically thanked His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Governor of Medina, for his support and encouragement for community development through providing programs online, and the evening was managed by Mr. Abdulmajid Sheikh.
Tonight, Wednesday, the fourth evening will be held titled (Family and Quarantine) at 11:30 PM – presented by Mr. Salem Saleem Al-Thaqafi via the (Zoom) program.
