(Negotiation and Persuasion Skills) on the ACADEMION International Institute platform
The International Academy Institute for Training, in partnership with the Social Development Center in Medina, presented a course titled "Negotiation and Persuasion Skills" Presented by: Reem Mufleh Al-Anzi, a kindergarten teacher and trainer in trainer preparation and qualification of kindergarten teachers, and a collaborator in the Cancer Patients Recovery Association, the course was broadcast on Wednesday, the second of Ramadan 1442 AH, at 11 PM via the YouTube channel of the ACADEMION International Institute, and the media presenter was: Hattaf Tarabishi.
Ms. Reem began the training program by defining "Negotiation Skill" and mentioned that it is: a meeting between two or more parties aimed at reaching a specific agreement while maintaining the common interests between the parties. She also indicated that the art of negotiation is required in daily life and in society as a whole, as everyone needs this skill but does not know how to use it and where to apply it. Many institutions, centers, and both private and governmental sectors are in dire need of negotiation skills, as negotiation is a continuous daily life process that occurs within families, at work, or in the community, and it is essential for resolving disputes and disagreements amicably between the parties.
Moreover, most good negotiators are mothers in their dealings with their children to reach positive and good solutions and outcomes without resorting to harshness, violence, or coercion. Most negotiations should have a common interest between the two parties to succeed, regardless of what those interests are, and to reach meaningful results. She emphasized that a good negotiator has a great capacity for endurance and resilience.
After the training program, Oyun Al-Madina electronic newspaper spoke with trainer Reem Al-Anzi about her impression of the training course, and she thanked and praised the organization, adding: Honestly, I am very proud and happy to be working with the ACADEMION International Institute, and this wonderful platform through the holding of more than one course in previous years as well as this current year. Regarding the "Negotiation and Persuasion Skills" course, this is one of the most important courses we need, especially in these days and the days to come, as it provides many opportunities for individuals to deal with multiple parties.
Al-Anzi concluded her remarks: I hope that this cooperation and communication with the ACADEMION Institute continues in the coming years.
