Academicians Global University concludes the Smart Age Media and Communication Conference with wide international participation
ACADEMION International University concluded the activities of the second international inter-university conference titled "Media and Communication in the Smart Age: Digital Transformations and Future Visions," which was held on the 20th and 21st of September 2025 via Zoom, with the participation of a select group of professors and researchers from various Arab and international universities.
The conference was opened by Professor Dr. Hayat Abdulaziz Niaz, the university president, who highlighted that smart media represents a strategic tool for achieving sustainable development and enhancing Arab cultural identity, and emphasized that this conference reflects the university's message in supporting scientific research and keeping pace with digital transformations.
The scientific sessions witnessed significant momentum and wide participation from speakers, committee heads, and members from various universities and research centers, characterized by a richness in topics addressing digital media, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, culture, identity, politics, and law, also reflecting a notable diversity in academic backgrounds and nationalities, which added an international and comprehensive scientific dimension to the discussions.
The closing recommendations of the conference presented a set of future visions, focusing on enhancing the responsible use of digital media, employing artificial intelligence technologies according to ethical standards, launching training programs for journalists, in addition to calling for the establishment of an Arab observatory to monitor fake news and misleading content.
At the end of the conference, Professor Dr. Hayat Abdulaziz Niaz expressed her deep gratitude to all participants and organizers, affirming that these joint efforts represent a turning point in the development of media and communication in the smart age, and that they will serve as a foundation for leading academic and research programs in the future.
