Signing international cooperation agreements on the sidelines of the Media and Communication in the Smart Age Conference
As part of the activities of the "Second International Interdisciplinary Conference on Media and Communication in the Smart Era: Digital Challenges and Future Prospects" organized by ACADEMICS International University, a special session was held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 8 PM Mecca time, to sign several international cooperation agreements with a selection of partner academic institutions and entities.
The session was chaired by Dr. Mishal Yaseen Al-Mahlawi, Vice President of ACADEMICS International University, who emphasized in his speech the importance of these agreements in expanding the scope of scientific and knowledge partnerships, and enhancing the academic and media presence of the university at both regional and international levels.
The signing ceremony was attended by Professor Sherif Gad, Vice President of the Libyan Capital University, Professor Nada Al-Obeidi, President of the European University of Smart Sciences in Sweden, Professor Awatif Al-Nouri, President of the Arab Academics and Scientists Union, Dr. Mousa Hamdan, President of Toronto Academy in Canada, represented by Mr. Ahmed Hamdan, and Dr. Mohammed bin Eid Al-Surahi, President of the Arab Council for Creativity and Innovation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Participants confirmed that this step represents a qualitative addition to the path of academic and media cooperation, paving the way for launching joint research and training projects that serve the aspirations of the Arab world in the field of smart media and digital communication.
The session witnessed a wide attendance of researchers, academics, and interested individuals, who followed the event via Zoom and the university's YouTube channel, where it was emphasized that these partnerships reflect a strategic direction towards building international scientific alliances capable of addressing the challenges of the digital age and leveraging its opportunities.
