Researcher Mariam Ihab Al-Haj Ahmed is preparing to present the results of a study on the value impacts of Netflix content on children at the First Makarem Conference (Citizens of Makarem in Media) organized by the university remotely on Wednesday, September 11, which is supervised by the Makarem Center for Moral Values at ACADEMION International University.
The study is titled "The Value Content in Netflix's Child-Oriented Content from the Perspective of Parents," and it comes within the framework of the growing interest in the role of digital content in shaping the values of emerging generations.
The study aims to answer fundamental questions about the nature of the values that Netflix content promotes among children, and what values parents prioritize. It also seeks to provide practical recommendations for Netflix and all stakeholders on how to leverage digital content in raising balanced generations capable of facing future challenges.
