APEXSCI International University conducted an educational workshop titled: "Media Skills and Integration", aimed at understanding the methods of drafting and preparing press releases, in addition to learning about the most important ways to communicate with the media, and the mechanism for preparing and holding press conferences to highlight community media issues.
Meanwhile, the meeting highlighted the components of a successful media professional, and ways to acquire media skills, in addition to modern and contemporary definitions of various media.
The meeting was opened by Advisor Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Najjar, explaining that the workshop is part of a comprehensive program implemented by ACADEMION International University to enhance scientific and cultural knowledge among its students and patrons.
For his part, the guest of the meeting, the university spokesperson, Advisor Abdul Ghani bin Naji Al-Qash presented the workshop, emphasizing that the press release is a very useful means of communication, and stressed the need for institutions to use the best methods in writing press releases.
Al-Qash explained that the workshop comes within the framework of enhancing effective communication with participants, to clarify the importance of the press release and press conference as important means to announce a range of news and issues including scheduled events, promotions, new products and services, achievements, and more, adding that the press release is currently one of the most popular means in institutions as a fundamental tool in enhancing public relations.
At the end of the workshop, media advisor Abdul Ghani Al-Qash listened to a number of interventions from the attendees, where they discussed various points and inquiries they presented, thanking the moderator Advisor Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Najjar for his role and effective management in this workshop.
